Today, Kate MacArthur of the Blue Sky blog of the Chicago Tribune posted an interview with A Whole New Engineer co-author Dave Goldberg. In it Goldberg was quoted as saying:

We realized how completely we had underestimated [our students] capability all these years. If students want to learn something, they feel capable of learning it. If they want to do something, they’re capable of starting it.
